Buyers' Guide to Market - Old Dominion Fashion Exhibitors

We’ve listed everything you’ll need to get the most from ODFE, including a few quick tips.

Prepare for Market

Book accommodations ahead of time for special rates at event hotels. For the new Virginia Beach shows, phone the Wyndam Virginia Beach Oceanfront at (757) 428-7025. Choose oceanfront accommodations with one king-size or two double beds. Call the hotel directly for reservations and identify yourself as an ODFE customer to receive our special rate of $84 per night.

Register online by clicking on the show date, and you’ll be taken directly to the registration form. Or download the Retailer Form at odfe.org/show-registration, complete the information, and bring it with you to the Registration Desk at the show.

Come prepared to present your business ID and Current State Tax Resale License. Acceptable forms of business ID include:

- First time buyers MUST present a copy of a Current State Tax Resale License.
- Business ID #1: A business card with your name and the store’s name imprinted
- on the card.
- Business ID #2: Copies of recent vendor invoices from vendors from the ODFE.

Important Side Notes:

Animals. Please leave your pets at home.

Children. Children under the age of 12 will not be allowed in the show area. Infants in front packs or in strollers are the only exception.

I.D. Badges. I.D. Badges must be worn at all times when in the Old Dominion Fashion Exhibitor Show and Hospitality Areas. No more than (3) badges allotted per store.

Market Security. All facility entrances will be staffed by personnel instructed to require current badge identification. Please register upon arrival so your entrance will not be delayed.

Smoking Policy. Old Dominion Fashion Exhibitor Markets are smoke-free. Please do not smoke anywhere in the building including bathrooms and doors to the outside. Please move at LEAST 20 feet from any doorway to the building. We appreciate your consideration in that matter.

Sample Release. No samples will be allowed to leave the exhibit area during show hours. Please do not ask our exhibitors to sell samples; they may be fined or lose the right to participate in future shows.

Parking. Convenient parking for Buyers is available in the parking lot of each show hotel.

Shuttle Service. For guests staying at the Wyndam Virginia Beach Oceanfront, ODFE’s host hotel, complimentary shuttle service is provided to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk for easy access to area attractions.

Coat Check Area. For your convenience, an unsupervised coat check is available in the Registration Area from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Thursday.
